Vehicle Description 1976 Triumph TR6 for sale! Motorcar Classics is pleased to offer this impressive TR6 presented in white with black interior.
This TR6 was delivered new to Butler Welch Imports of Indianapolis, Indiana and remained with its first owner for some 40 years.
Acquired and restored by Vintage Triumph Register National Convention Chairman, Andrew Holliday.
Original paperwork including window sticker and refurbishment restoration photos including new paint, door moldings, windshield moldings and more.
New tires, trim rings, rebuilt master cylinder, new brake pistons, lines, rear cylinders, brake pads, cleaned and turned rear drums.
Replaced fuel tank and sender, fuel pump, rubber lines, wiring harness, ignition switch and coolant hoses.
Replaced Luk clutch, pressure plate and disc and rebuilt clutch cylinders.
Interior includes original but updated with new foam black vinyl seats with perforated inserts.
Instrumentation includes 140 mph speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.
Odometer shows 23,724 original miles.
The engine is an original 2.
5 inline dual zenith carburetor with updated Pertronix electronic ignition module and vacuum advance conversion.
Engine block matches the serial number on the window sticker.
Compression test shows 100 compression of all cylinders.
