Senior Logistics Engineer

Job Description SUMMARY: Leads the research, development, design, and test of hardware/software components, equipment and systems.   Provides analysis related to the design, development and implementation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities for any given title also include those listed for all lower level titles. Other duties may be assigned. General Integrated Logistics Support helps develop, or recommends, a support concept; and provides "support products" e.g. manuals, training, provisioning data, etc., associated with that concept. Follow current ILS development processes Expected to be a participant in Process Improvement activities including process generation, checklists and data analysis. Perform tasks according to budget and schedule Uses computer applications to perform engineering tasks Prepares technical status reports, as required. Occasional travel requiring overnight stays may be required. Airline travel must be acceptable. Prepare Integrated Logistics Support Plan. Prepare Logistics Support Analysis Record Develop operator and maintainer classroom and hands-on training and training material Perform spares analysis Plan, conduct and report on Maintainability/Built-In-Test Demonstration Testing Working with the Program team, may provide direct customer interface including technical presentations, Engineering Coordination Memos, telecoms, formal reviews, etc. Prepares engineering changes, status reports, as required. Designs and develops Statistical Process Control (SPC), Cpk error analysis tools and features Provides mentoring and peer review services for ILS personnel. Develop and provide metrics for to Project Engineering Management as well as Corporate Engineering Management. This may include Technical Performance Metrics, Earned Value, process adherence, etc. Performs project planning and monitoring using MS Project, MS Excel etc. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
