Percussion Business Unit Manager

D'Addario & Company, Inc. seeks a professional to lead the company's percussion business unit, specifically the Evans drumheads, Pro-Mark, and Puresound brands, as well as other percussion-related accessories. The person holding this position will lead all efforts and initiatives as it relates to the general business management, product development, and marketing of Evans, Puresound, and Pro-Mark. This person will work closely with our Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Director of Product Management, and other marketing staff assisting in the marketing, brand management, product development and consumer interaction related to the specified brand. From time to time and depending on the project, management task or customer interaction they can and will work with the President, CFO, General Counsel, or other non-marketing specific managers. Qualified candidates will possess 5-10 years of related experience in product development, marketing and business management. The position reports directly to the Director of Product Management and the VP - Sales and Marketing. Key responsibilities will include: Development of business unit strategy. Lead cross functional teams in new product development, marketing, and general management. Oversight of all business unit spending with GM accountability. Serve as key voice in operational and engineering direction. Work closely with international and domestic sales team to achieve brand penetration in global marketplace. Target and determine media placement and frequency for percussion brands. Assist and/or direct event planning and coordination, and attend consumer shows and festivals. The candidate must have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in the percussion field. A B.S. degree in Music Business or a related field and proficiency in playing the instrument being managed are strongly preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
