Strategic Sourcing Manager

D'Addario & Company, Inc. is currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Purchasing Department. Candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business(MBA preferred), or Engineering, 10 Years experience in Global Purchasing, extensive work experience within a Lean environment, and strong systems knowledge of MRP and database experience is necessary. Candidate should also be a strategic thinker, self-starter, articulate, willing to travel, and have the ability to mentor and coach subordinates. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in managing and improving a global supply chain for finished goods and raw materials with a budget of approximately $50+ million annually. A global strategic sourcing plan (vision) and establishment of price agreements that align with the corporate Lean initiative will be required. Identification, development and execution of value stream improvement initiatives with key suppliers or within commodity markets is expected. Major Responsibilities Include: Supply Chain Management for finished goods (Planet Waves), printed materials and all purchased raw materials founded on Lean principles. Strategic Sourcing Plan for local/national and international supply base - Pricing Agreements - Logistics Plans Interaction with Product Development team - representing key suppliers or identifying new or alternative suppliers. Support and interact with Operations, Engineering, Logistics and Quality Departments. Management and professional development of 3 planners and 1 intern in alignment with D'Addario corporate values.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
