Senior Accountant
We have an immediate need for a senior accountant on a direct hire basis. Our client is located in Farmingdale and the hours are full time. In the role you would be responsible for assisting the Controller who is taking on a more senior role. You would be in the trenches with the staff and must be able to roll up your sleeves with any task that may arise!! If invoicing needs to be done than you are expected to assist in that area. The company is growing rapidly so as the business grows the staff needs to be flexible with tasks that need to be completed. Additional tasks that will be assigned would be the financials, monthly analysis, special projects, possibly overseeing the department on a daily basis, etc. In order to be successful in the role you are required to be flexible with your hours due to deadlines. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as an accountant coupled with a bachelor's degree. Excel proficiency including pivot tables are a must!! Salary is based upon experience.
