Stericycle is seeking a Customer Service Representative!

Under immediate direction, provides timely response of customer inquiries up to and including pick-ups, schedules, product orders, etc., and all other aspects of a customer's needs. Works closely with the local teams to resolve transportation issues that can impact the customer, such as truck breakdowns, reschedules due to driver illness and weather related missed stops.
oProvides the highest level of customer service to all customers on a regular basis. Assists customers in any and all of the following: re-routes, request for extra pick-up or containers, changed in the pick-up schedule, follow up on pickups and/or problems with materials, and preparation for new customers. Follow up with Customer Service and outlying domiciles when needed. Supports the local transportation facilities with any operational related issues to avoid any service failures and exceed customer satisfaction.
oRespond timely to customer inquiries and process requests, according to established standards with attention to style, tone, and manner of communication, received through the automated ADC system, mail, email, or case management.
Routes customers to a schedule based on information entered into our routing system. Reroutes existing customers as required or requested.
oPositions Stericycle products and services when speaking with customers.
oProvides feedback to management on ways to increase efficiencies and the effectiveness of servicing customer's needs.
oPerforms necessary record keeping activities.
oPerforms other related duties as assigned, required, or requested, including but not limited to:
oComplete welcome calls and post welcome calls to new customers
oAssembles new customer kits
oResearch missed stops as requested from customer and local facilities
oWorks with dispatch offices to bring customer resolution to transportation needed documents, such as manifest.
oMonitor, and manage SFDC cases and works IWD Pops
oProcess outbound calls for IVR messages from customer scheduling issues
Position Requirements
oEducation equivalent to graduation from high school or the equivalent in related work experience demonstrating basic customer service and phone skills.
oTwo or more years of general office experience, preferably in a customer service environment, or the equivalent in related work experience. Experience with and/or Bio Track (or equivalent) preferred.
oOne or more years of Dispatching experience preferred, demonstrating a good knowledge of the geographic area to be serviced.
oDemonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials Regulations OSHA, and DOT regulations a plus, or demonstrates a willingness to learn details of each.
oDemonstrates the ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
oDemonstrates general knowledge of Windows PC, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Outlook, MapPoint, CIB, Tower, BSA, and Case Management.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
