is seeking an experienced Art Director to join our creative department.
The Art Director at Wilen is responsible for conceptualizing and designing marketing campaigns; which includes: advertising and direct mail print materials, collateral, outdoor, web, TV and Radio. The Art Director will be part of a team that consists of a copywriter, account manager, production manager and executive creative director who will work together to develop campaigns that meet and exceed our client-marketing objectives. We are looking for a strategic and conceptual thinker to grow with us!
Job Requirements:
Be able to comprehend a strategic creative brief and translate those goals into conceptual work.
Create a range of concepts and designs for each project and be able to collaborate with copywriters to ensure the art direction and visual presentation supports the concept.
Collaborate with a copywriter to develop concepts and complete campaign.
Juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and work closely with clients.
Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and have strong communications skills.
Candidate Requirements:
5-7 years experience in an agency (or agency-like) setting.
An excellent portfolio that includes promotion, marketing, advertising and editorial.
The ability to manage your own projects, while working within a team environment.
Superior organization and interpersonal skills.
The ability to thrive within a fast-paced agency environment.
The ability to handle changing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
An understanding of client specified marketing objectives.
Expert use of Adobe CS6.
Understanding of Flash, After Effects, and Video production is an added bonus.
The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level and qualifications.
This is an on-site position.
