Quality Inspector, Aerospace and Defense Parts
RS Precision is an AS9100 certified and ITAR registered precision contract manufacturer providing small, complex, precision machined parts for Aeropace and Defense applications since 1948.
We are currently looking for a full-time Quality Inspector with prior Aerospace and Defense parts experience to join our team at our Farmingdale, NY location.

BENEFITS FOR THE QUALITY Health Insurance Paid Vacation, Holdiay and Sick days Profit Sharing Bonus Plan 401K Savings Plan QUALITY INSPECTOR (included, but not limited to) Perform First Article (FAI), Receiving, In Process, and Final Inspections Create quality Control Plans for new jobs Determine standard and custom fixturing required for inspection Document production non-conformances Perform calibration of measuring equipment and update records in our gauge software Work closely with CNC machinists to complete inspections and support the team to meet Customer Requirements Program and perform inspections using a Faro Arm, CMM, SmartScope OGP and Trimos Height Gauge - Preferred Perform contract review on new purchase orders - Preferred REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE FOR THE QUALITY 5 years experience as a Quality Inspector of Aerospace and Defense parts Experience working in an ISO 9001 / AS9100 environment Proficient with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD files and customer specifications Ability to train personnel in inspection procedures and equipment operation Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Fluent in English ABOUT By providing a broad array of multi-process machining capabilities, RS Precision is a one-stop source for small to medium-sized, performance-critical parts, as well as EDM secondary operations.
