Job Description:
USA, European, South American, and Far East product, and production sourcing (Window Display's, In store displays & Fixtures).
Planning for the purchase of goods, services, and manufacturing of bespoke items.
Including but not limited to; reviewing, comparing, and evaluating prices received Purchase goods, materials, or services in line with specified budgets, quality, and project timelines Drafting quotations and raising vendor purchase orders Liaise with Vendors, production, and colleagues to ensure that materials/products are available in the right quantity, at the right time Managing US and International projects, for both bespoke and bulk production Maintaining positive relationships while negotiating specs, pricing, and deadlines with Vendors Assisting with the daily activities of the Group Procurement department Managing the Procurement Quote Log and Monthly Project Report, ensuring they are kept up to date and accurate Maintaining and updating Vendor information on groups database Develop ideas and processes to improve efficiency, performance, and work towards continuous improvement of the business You:
You'll be well organised with a confident and outgoing personality and be able to think quickly on your feet You'll need to be completely familiar with all aspects of Harlequin's products and methods of production and able to understand the needs of other departments You'll need to have a resilient personality, as the work is dynamic in nature and involves working to deadlines Previous experience in VM, Window displays & retail fixtures is required.
Must be computer literate (intermediate) Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and can use an Apple MacBook Commutable distance from NY 10012 General stuff:
In person 3 days a week at the office Currently Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in person - but might change at any time Working day 9-6pm Vacation allowance 20 days
