You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:

Responsibilities:
Serves as telephone operator for facility; routes incoming calls correctly and takes accurate messages when unable to connect caller to requested partyReceives and distributes all mail and special deliveriesGreets patients and provides necessary paperwork for completionNotifies appropriate nursing staff that patient is present after patient has completed paperworkKeeps track of patient's family, patient's driver, etc.
Ensures that pharmaceutical/equipment representatives have appropriate badges and do not interfere with patient care or confidentialityPrints out all labels, forms, etc.
, for patient charts and assembles charts before appointmentCalls appropriate agencies for assistance in case of emergencyPerforms other miscellaneous office/clerical duties as neededStamps the back of each check with deposit stamp at time of receiptMakes copies of all checks with EOBs received in mail, credit card slips, and cash received from patientsSeparates EOBs from checks and attaches original EOB to copyIssues appropriate duplicate receipts when receiving payments by cash or check directly from patientsVerifies credit cards if used and issues appropriate duplicate receiptsPosts all checks, credit card slips, and cash received to payments-received log, showing type of payment separatelyIf there are separate billing accounts (i.
e.
, facility, anesthesia, physicians), sorts and posts each to separate payments-received logBalances log to cash/checks/credit card paymentsCompletes deposit log for patient and insurance paymentsCompletes separate deposit log for other types of payments (e.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentAbility to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and general publicPrevious experience in healthcare administration or other related fieldsStrong organizational skillsInsurance verification experienceAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong computer skillsAbout the Company:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
